THE DELIGHT & RELIEF OF A TRUE YES!
If you are willing to ask yourself the questions that keep coming up in front of you and listening for a resonant YES or NO, you will find your true path. It honestly can be that simple.
I just realized a great big NO to a project I have been planning for a long while, and the true YES slipped in quietly, reminding me of who I am, what I teach, the work I do and have done for decades. I am elated! I felt my whole being relax and let go of so much tension (read ‘resistance’) around this project.
I have procrastinated and avoided working on this for a long time…and have felt like crap about that. So when the true YES showed, I actually laughed out loud with delight, danced in my chair and felt my energy, enthusiasm and eagerness rise up immediately
We sometimes try to complicate and ‘fancy things up’ thinking that we/what we do is not enough. That we have to come up with or be something ‘special’. We and what we do are not only enough, they are/we are huge blessings to ourselves, others and the planet. Just as we are.
So today ask yourself if you are forcing an inauthentic YES somewhere in your life. Here are a few leading questions. Do you procrastinate or avoid doing this thing you think you’re saying Yes to? Have you been waiting to do this until “the time is just right”? Do you tell yourself that you need more experience/information/time/etc before you can do it? Do you feel kind of ‘not up to the task’? In other words, is your Inner Being offering big time resistance to doing this thing you think you are saying YES to, when really your true answer is NO?
If you will follow the wonderings and the questions that come straight out of your experience; if you will honestly and with interest, inquire then the true and real YES can emerge quite naturally. How hard we try to be something other that what we are. We are enough, in every sense of that word. We are sufficient. Only always.
I would love for you to comment here about your own experiences with finding the true YESes of your life!
And if I can support you on that quest, I would love to. Let me know.
As always, I hope you SPARKLE!!
