LOVE YOURSELF RIDICULOUSLY! NO EGO-BASHING
My dear beautiful amazing ones!
I make promises to the sensitive empath women I work with. Not foolish promises like huge wealth, mansions, cars, happy-all-the-time, pie-in-the-sky promises. But promises that are truly life changing….keep reading…please.
The moment I stopped being a women’s spiritual coach…
…is when I claimed that what I ACTUALLY DO is help women to love themselves ridiculously, and carry that self-love into every nook and cranny of their lives….when they do this, all of the rest takes care of itself….I promise…
They start loving and caring for the vulnerable child inside of them. They start loving the brave, persistent, hopeful woman they are. They start loving the self that has put everything she has on the line believing that things can change…
Yes, the start loving these parts of themselves. But it’s not all bunnies and rainbows, is it?
It’s also very important to look at our shadows as well. Those frustrating, drive you to your knees “why the hell can’t I make this happen, get this done, stay on track with this, WHAT’S the MATTER with me?” moments.
Social Media would have you believe that everyone else’s life is on track, neat, tidy, interesting, dynamic, in a word…perfect…unlike yours!! It makes things appear that everyone else has manifested what you want, whatever that is, and that there MUST be something wrong with you if you haven’t.
Here’s the thing, we each have that one area in our life that keeps driving us to our knees either in desperation, feelings of failure, prayer, or genuine despair…it’s what keeps us coming back look up at the sky, shake our fist and ASK…even PLEAD for help.
The ‘WHAT’S the matter with me?’ is your ego bashing and berating and judging you. IT’s your ego being a perfectionist…and that, my friends, is a killer. It’s not real. And it’s not fair. Ask me how I know… #smirk
Yes, ego’s job is to preserve and protect us but ego can go way overboard with fear and start the abusive inner talk. Now the dialogue may have originated with a parent, teacher or other authority figure, or religion, or culture….but ego keeps the rant going.
So here’s where SELF-LOVE comes in. If you wouldn’t tolerate someone else talking to your child or best friend like this, then you must step up and stop your ego from doing it to you. This is one of the SELF-LOVE steps I teach my clients. It is also one of the things that I learned myself years ago. I still have areas where I fall short of my proclaimed goals—I AM human after all, but I catch myself, I am kind to myself about it and I DO ask for help.
This is what I mean when I say that “I will help you to love yourself ridiculously.”
Truly, madly, deeply, as the movie title says! This is what I will pull you back to time and time again until it really clicks into place and is yours to keep. This is how it starts…and then you build from there. It’s foundational, it’s not really an exaggeration to say that nothing you really want will come before Self-Love is a deeply embedded habit. And YOU are so worth it!!
So…let me know what you think about this…I’d love to hear from you!
I love you!
And as always, I hope you SPARKLE!
