Say “yes” to the thing that you think just might kill you. Surrender to that which terrorizes you with its power. Let go into the darkness that disorients you. Soften to the sword that threatens to pierce you.
Resistance makes everything harder. Why would you want to make a hard thing even harder? Sometimes embracing the inevitability of something is even easier when it’s all said and done, than fighting it tooth and nail.
There’s usually no way to tell what will come next. We can only see as far as our headlights shine on a dark night. Seeing around the next corner, we’re not wired for that.
Where’s your trust? Where’s your faith? You say they got washed out to sea when the last big wave knocked you down? Then perhaps should begin as a beachcomber, wandering up and down the beach waiting for them to be washed up again, spit out by a wave cleansed, but with a bit of seaweed clinging.
If your trust and your faith don’t get washed back up, then you better borrow someone else’s, because it’s a tough row to hoe without faith and trust.
Find your faith and trust wherever you can, don’t leave home without them. You need that flashlight to shine on the darkest night when all seems lost, and you feel like giving up. You need that soft place to fall into when you’re tired and believe that nothing will work out your way. You need that hand to hold because alone is no way to face your demons. And you need to know that that halo is always shining around your head, because that’s just who you are.
You have no idea the power that lies within your vulnerability. I was that way once too, and then a wise man pointed out to me that my power was in my vulnerability and not in my rage. That my rage wasn’t protecting me and that my protestations and resistance weren’t even working. The thing that I thought just might kill me was happening anyway. Took me a long while to get this, but I did.
You have to get this now because you can’t live as if you’ve got the next zillion years, none of us can. Because it will be over and you will be left saying, “Wait! What?”
So pick up your rosary beads, or your crystal, or your feather, or your kittycat, and act as if you’ve got faith and trust, and soon you will. Your intention to find these touchstones will bring them into your awareness even sooner. And if you already have them, set an intention to deepen them, because it can’t get deep enough, not really.
As always, I hope you **::**SPARKLE**::**
Love you, Bless you,

When you’re looking for a spiritual life coach or mentor, you really want to be working with someone who has overcome and transformed the very challenge that you’re struggling with. There is absolutely nothing like working with someone who has been to the depths of suffering that you’ve been, and has turned things around to find peace, JOY and fulfillment again.
So if you’re dealing with a relationship that’s crashing and burning, a beloved child who is in emotional distress, the death of a loved one, caring for an aging and ill parent, an eating disorder, a heart & soul business that’s floundering, searching for your Sacred Purpose in life, or a spiritual transition, then working with me would be a great idea because I’ve “been there and done that” with all of those.
Let me know if you’re ready to schedule a Begin Your Journey complimentary session to discover whether we’d be a good fit together to move you forward in your life.
